The Jillian Fellers label was born in a basement studio in the fall of 2012 with a handful of sketches and a muslin-draped dress form. After two seasons showing on the runway in 2013 and piles of patterns and scraps later, my line has evolved into a full collection of wedding gowns for the unabashedly romantic, a bride who wants a gown that hints at the past.
Always a lover of vintage fashion, I earned my degree in Textile and Apparel Design from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2005. After graduating I began designing one-of-a-kind gowns for brides and their maids until taking some time off a few years later to spend time with my newborn son. Two children and five years later, I’ve hopped back into design feet-first and have launched my collection of vintage-inspired ethereal wedding gowns.
Each gown is designed, patterned, cut, and sewn by me from my home studio in Lincoln, Nebraska. I choose fabrics and embellishments that feel as dreamy as they look to create a dress that can go the distance for you on your wedding day. Care is taken to make sure each seam is finished beautifully and every figure-enhancing detail is in place. I design gowns for the bride who’s a little bit of an old-fashioned romantic; one who wants a gown unlike any other, who isn’t afraid to wear a little color down the aisle or embrace her femininity. I design the gowns I love, and I hope you love them, too.
