The artwork you will find here reflects my passion for the details of nature and my attempt to use things recycled. I am a mindful nature lover, fascinated by its intricate complexities, yet soothed by its simple beauty.
I am blessed to live on the edge of a meadow at the base of a mountain in SW Colorado with my eco-minded husband and our exuberant dog. Here, we built our own modest earth- friendly straw bale home and it was during that process the scavenger side of me began collecting discarded pieces of wood that I couldn not bear to throw away. The idea of integrating discarded lumber with my collection of pressed plants became the birth of my botanical collages and other nature inspired artworks.
